BISON PORTABLE BUILDINGS LIMITED FIVE YEAR WARRANTY

 

Building constructed after January 1, 2011 Bison Portable Buildings warrants to the original purchaser, that your building is free of defects in material and workmanship upon completion, and will repair or replace any components that do not provide reasonable service under normal use, for a period of five (5) years from the date of completion.  Correction by repair or replacement of materials or workmanship in your Bison Building, which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective, shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of Bison Portable Buildings under this warranty.  In order for this warranty to be valid, all surfaces that require weatherproofing, including but not limited to siding, trim, doors, soffits etc. must be painted or stained within ninety-days (90) of completion, (proof of paint and/or stain purchase required or pictures of painted building) and properly maintained per the paint manufactures specifications.  Bison Portable Buildings shall not be liable for any installation or re installation costs for the natural characteristic of some wood to split, warp or twist.

Bison Portable Buildings will not warranty any products that have been provided by the owner, such as windows, doors etc.  This warranty shall not apply to any Bison product or any part thereof which has been damaged by fire, flood, water, earthquake, earth movement, hail, wind, adverse weather conditions, vandalism, theft, act of God, accident or other event, or a casualty which is customarily covered by homeowner’s insurance.  The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect, or improper maintenance. Bison makes no warranties whatsoever with respect to accessories, appliance or parts incorporated into your building where the supplier or manufacturer of those materials has warranties on such materials which exceed the warranty set forth above.  Bison assumes no liability thereunder and the Owner must assert any claim under such warranties against such supplier or manufacturer.  The terms “owner”, “original Purchaser” and “Buyer, as used in this warranty, shall mean that person for whom the Bison building is originally constructed. 

The Buyer acknowledges that no other representations or warranties were made to or relied upon by him or her with respect to the quality or function of the goods herein sold.

Claims under this warranty must be made prior to the expiration of the warranty and once the defect is discovered must be made known to Bison Portable Buildings immediately, by calling (406)633-2655.  Bison will address and make such repairs within 30 days, as long as it is within Bison Portable Building’s power, taking into consideration any materials etc. that may need to be ordered.

If Bison Portable Buildings installs a concrete pad for you building, this warranty will apply to the pad.  However, this warranty does not cover cracking, peeling, or pitting of concrete, regardless of when it occurs.

Any work performed by the owner, including moving the structure or hiring another to move the structure from the place of build completion, will not be covered under this warranty.
